Week 5 (I can't believe I'm still at it)

 January 30 - Cool shot of sunlight through icicles hanging off our roof.

 January 31 - Younger's new haircut, it's Billie-riffic.

 February 1 - I finished the craft corner cleanup.

 February 2 - Sunlight!!!!

 February 3 - Spatz makes a good pillow. (Ugly afghan awesomeness included.)

 February 4 - Older after her performance at The Vagina Monologues. 

 I'm very proud of you!

February 5 - Table of sad deflated pumpkins on the side of the road. 

Note:  I wasn't sure this week's photos would be good, but I think there are some gems.

Week 4

 January 23 - I'm modeling some pajama pants I made using a pattern in this book..

 January 24 - Organized fabric in the craft room.  Now I need to do the other bookshelf.

 January 25 - Spatz's favorite spot for viewing wildlife.

 January 26 - I liked the colors of my salad fixin's.

 January 27 - Waking up to over a foot of snow.  I'm so over winter!

 January 29 - Picking up older in front of her dorm.

January 29 - Happy Birthday to hubby.  That is my homemade german chocolate cake that tastes a whole lot better than it looks. 

Week 3

 January 16 - The beginning of a square for an afghan I'm working on.

 January 17 - Snowing again.

 January 18 - Here's the Christmas tree.  Looks better than it did in the house.

 January 19 - Cute photo of younger.  I caught a lot of flack for taking pictures while driving.

 January 20 - Older trying to stay warm.  It isn't working.

 January 21 - Take out for dinner.  I'm too lazy to cook or take a good photo.

January 22 - The cutest member of the household.  He knows it too.

Week 2 of Photos

 January 9 - Spot the deer.  That's the view from the back door.

 January 10 - Making granola.

 January 11 - Gathering wood for a fire.

 January 12 - Waking up to fresh snow.

 January 13 - Younger's school Band Concert. ( She's a percussionist, on the far left.)

 January 14 - There's Spatz, our cat loaf.

January 15 - Hubby plays guitar too.  He's wearing his Ravens jersey for the big game.  They lost :(

Happy New Year

Hello.  My name is Donna and I started this blog like so many others as a way to encourage myself to take note of life around me and write it down.  One of my resolutions this year was to take a picture every day.  I enjoyed this project on many blogs last year and thought I'd give it a go.  I will probably do a week at a time.  Fair warning - there will be cat pictures.  I held out for week one, but Spatz (our cat, duh) is so photogenic and usually stationary that he is bound to show up.  I share with you now January 2 - 8.  January 1 is missing because I took those photographs is raw format instead of jpeg and need to figure out how to change them over.  It will be included as soon as that happens.

 January 2 - My dad making us breakfast before we head back home after visiting for the holidays.

January 3 - Oldest received two free months of NetFlix for Christmas.  She hooked it up with our Wii.

 January 4, Packing away the decorations.

 January 5 - My two girls.  Don't they look excited to be photographed!

 January 6 - Game night.

 January 7 - Youngest restringing her guitar she bought with Christmas money.

January 8 - Subs for dinner.
